Do you notice a delay from when you (or your login script) finishes logging onto your ISP to when Win95 displays the "Connected.." box? If so, you may have a checkbox set that you do not need, causing the delay. To try this possible fix, access the Dial-Up Networking properties for your Internet connection. Click on the "Start" button, choosing "Programs," "Accessories," "Communications," and then "Dial-Up Networking." Right-click on your Internet connection method (ISP) and select "Properties" from the pop-up menu that follows. When you see the resulting dialog box, click the "Server Types" tab. Uncheck "Log on to network" under "Advanced options." Click "OK" to close the dialog box. This may or may not work for you, but we tested this tip on one machine, eliminating a 10 second delay. Worked wonders for me. Another Way to Minimize Apps To minimize the currently running and visible application, just click on the application's representation on the taskbar.
